1 Q: I feel I am not strong or flexible enough to do yoga
A: You do not need to be strong or flexible in the practice, everything can be adapted. Everyone is different however we can all benefit from yoga and can improve flexibility through yoga practice.
2 Q: I do not know how to do yoga
A: We all begin our practice with little knowledge, our instructors will guide you in every move to give you confidence in your yoga practice.
3 Q: I have an injury or illness
A: Many of us have injuries and so many people take up yoga to help recovery, our instructors will work with you to fulfil your yoga practice, working around an injury or illness, while trying to improve mobility and strength.
4 Q: I feel I have no balance or coordination
A: In yoga, we all start with a different ability. We do find that within the practice, that everyone can improve balance and coordination. With our yoga practice incorporates core and stabilizing techniques that are part of every class. All practices can be adapted, and you are very welcome to come as you are.
5 Q: I have not done yoga before and will feel uncomfortable with others who can already do yoga
A: Our classes are mixed ability and are made to be friendly where everyone joins in and our instructors help to bring a calming relaxing feel and where people can make friends.
6 Q: I do not have any equipment
A: You are welcome to use Aspire mats and equipment.
7 Q: I do not know what to wear
A: any comfortable sports clothing is ok, shorts or leggings, Yoga socks if not barefoot.
8 Q: I mainly see women going to yoga classes, do men attend the classes
A: Yes there are lots of men doing yoga at our classes, we also have couples who come together (Men need yoga too).
9 Q: What is your policy on discrimination, violence and harassment
A: At Aspire Yoga we are very serious about creating an environment, With room for EVERYONE. We therefore have a ZERO tolerance for any of these kinds of behaviors. We strongly encourage everyone to inform us should they encounter any of these.
